Hello, hello! My name is Lynn. I'm a 26-year-old professional web and graphic designer living in southern California with my husband Aaron, three cats, and a bunny rabbit. I'm a collector by nature, and take great mental satisfaction in the organization of a large number of books and objects. I primarily collect manga (japanese comics) and any and all media relating to the Japanese vocalist/musician YUKI (Judy and Mary). I also enjoy collecting stickers, earrings, My Melody goods, and anything that sports a traditional -roygbiv- rainbow.

I'm forever piercing my ears and dying my hair. I love my life and all the trials and tribulations that go along with it that have helped to shape the person I am today. This year marks 12-years of internet use, 8-years of domain ownership and website creation, and 25-years of being an obnoxiously charming geek who just wants to have fun. I'm what you'd get if you stuck rainbow brite, yuki, cyndi lauper, and punky brewster in a blender and cranked it up to the highest setting.

name: Lynn

name meaning / etemology: Lynn is the short form of Lynette, the Anglicized form of the medieval Welsh name Eiluned (which means "Idol") (Lynn was chosen for me by my parents, after considering the name Gwendolyn).

sex / gender: I'm a feminine female who acts "tomboyish" much of the time.

religious & political:

atheist (having been born without the idea of god in my mind, when presented with the various folk stories and mythologies of ancient peoples, I simply decided not to subscribe to the irrational oddity which is organized religion. I support the advancement of truth, science, and rationality - I understand the uslessness of religion as I understand the uslessness of astrology and I view the idea of a god in the same way that I view the idea of santa clause.

libertarian We should be able to do whatever we choose with our life, body, voice, and property, as long as it doesn't harm anyone else, or infringe the rights of someone else. Additionally, the government should be large enough to protect us, but small enough to stay out of our personal business and not tell us what to do with our lives, money, property, body, and voice etc...). Another way to put it, is that I am socially liberal but economically conservative.

hair: I change my hair color and style frequently, and it has been all the colors of the rainbow (including rainbow). It is currently dark red-magenta (punky colours rubine).

ethnicity: mostly scottish, english, welsh, and french with a dash of german and irish for flavor.

nationality: american

languages: english, japanese (12 yrs) ... and enough spanish to catch parts of conversations.

other: I am unilaterally deaf (my right ear is completely deaf, my left ear has very good hearing... perhaps to compensate for the other... however I do have issues with picking out voices in a crowd, and finding the origin and direction of a sound), I have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), but I know how to live with it and it does not impede my career or love life... I have worked hard to filter out the bad aspects to embrace all the strengths it brings me [hyper focus, quickness of thought, creativity, amazing memory].
